A strictly bedroom turntablist for most of the mid '90s, Oli L finally emerged bleary-eyed in 1998 with a fortnightly residency at the Albert. Since then he's been a regular on the house party scene in Brighton, besides peddling audio filth at the notorious annual Porn parties at London's Cafe Cairo. Oli currently appears with Kilter, a collective of DJs and live musicians, every Friday at the 3 in 10 (was the Queen's Head, now under new management) at the bottom of St James's Street, Brighton.

Oli's sound is a basically a mash up of all the electronic music he's ever loved - the funky drums of early Ninja Tunes releases, the holy trinity of mid-nineties dance music (Leftfield, Orbital, Underworld), the big beat sound of the Fatboy and the fat b-lines of Krafty Kuts and co. All shamelessly crowd-pleasing stuff, but then what are the crowd there for anyway?
